Weingarten Rights at Monty Tech

In our Union agreement we negotiated during the 2002 negotiations to have the following new requirement added which forces administration to notify you of your right to be represented by the Union where discipline may result from the meeting inserted under Article III Section E of the grievance procedure. It was moved to Article XIV Section A in the 2014-2017 agreement. Failure to do so would be an Unfair Labor Practice by the school and would have an impact on any action taken. Here is what is stated. "Section A-Conditions of Employment"

"The employer shall inform employees of their right to be represented by the Association before any disciplinary meeting or any meeting from which disciplie may result."
